The monastery is open from 9 am until 6 pm So make sure you plan your visit accordingly.

Take your shoes off as it's a long and steep hike from the taxi drop-off point.

Cameras are not allowed within the monastery.

If you'd like to get a glimpse of monks praying in the morning make sure you arrive before dawn.
